How to get to Belitung Island

It takes only 45 – 50 minutes to get to Belitung from Jakarta and 30 minutes from Palembang by plane. There are 3 daily direct flights heading to Belitung from Jakarta(Hanandjoeddin Airport at Tanjung Pandan).

To go to Bangka from Belitung and vice versa, there is one jet foil “Express Bahari” to operate from Wednesday to Monday. It takes about 4 hours to Pangkalpinang in Bangka from Tanjung Pandan in Belitung ot the other way around. Air flight is yet to operate at temporarily.

1. Tanjung Tinggi Beach



This beach is located 35 km from Tanjung Pandan, has a charm of a rock scene that was so prominent granite punctuated by waves that are not so high.

2. Tanjung Kelayang Beach



Tanjung Kelayang Beach is located 27 km from Tanjung Pandan to extend the white sand of calm sea. For those visitors who want to use the speed boat can be rented for recreational facilities

3. Punai Beach



This beach is located in the northern part of Belitung island with beautiful scenery and fantastic backdrop of coconut trees. The water is very clear for swimming and fishing.
